I know I haven't been active on here for... -checks watch- five years... oh lord.
But I've opened up commissions over on my tumblr.
I'll check over here periodically, but if you want timely responses, the contact info listed here: Tumblr, twitter (@squirrellythief) , or email (squirrellythief@yahoo.com) is the fastest way to get in touch with me for a request.
Employment's been kind of an issue since finishing grad school, So I'm opening up commissions to supplement my bank account while I look for work in a new city.
And I've got OPTIONS:
Stickers/icons starting at $3 and small illustrations starting at $5
Illustrations starting at $10
Paintings starting at $50
And character sheets starting at $75
(I'll probably be posting all of these images to my gallery over the next few days since these are all new pieces.)
Message me if you're interested~
Devil’s Food
Modern setting. “Demon Baker” project. Equal parts horror and comedy. Focuses around a young priest returning to his home town only to be discovered by a demonic presence that runs the bakeshop across town that is now bound-and-determined to get on his good side. Bake sales are especially awkward.
Wrath of the Fire God
Modern setting. “Thibault Project” Grey morals for EVERYONE. Focuses on two characters: Marie, a relatively normal young adult that winds up befriending the wrong person and gets swept up in crazy magic shenanigans. And Thibault, a rogue mage raised by an underground society of witches returning home to wreck shop and get sweet revenge on a monster that’s terrorized him since he was a boy.
Glass Heart
Fantasy setting. “Jewel of the Desert” project. Character-focused slow, downward spiral. Focuses on Shauna, the last of long line of paladin kings. After an accident leaves her injured and near death, the king -to save his sole heir- turns to dragon magic to save her. It backfires, of course, and the undead dragon tyrant Strumn, fights with Shauna over her physical form when she refuses to die peacefully. With that life, however, comes exile until Shauna can rip the dragon’s phylactery out of her chest and return it to the quiet tomb where it belongs.
Dreamweaver’s Folly
Fantasy setting. Longest running worldbuilding project, pretty standard adventure. Focuses on Raine, one of the few pure humans still around centuries after the last mages created the demihumans to go to war with each other (and thus had their magic taken away). Raine travels with a mentor around the world, first on a mission to capture a fugitive, then later to learn about the strange goings-on that have been cropping up for the last few decades. Eventually, sights are set on the Dreamweaver, a demigod of fate sentenced to live in the realm of men as repentance for past crimes, and a party is gathered to confront him.
